The prestigious National Property Awards 2025, now in its fourth year, took place on February 27th at the InterContinental, Dublin, bringing together 450 guests from across Ireland’s property industry. The event, in association with the Business Post, recognised excellence across both residential and commercial property sectors:  https://nationalpropertyawards.ie/ 

 

Among the industry leaders honoured, Michael O’Flynn, CEO and Chairman of O’Flynn Group, received the Lifetime Achievement Award, acknowledging his substantial contributions to Ireland’s property landscape. Marie Hunt, Head of Research at IPUT Real Estate Dublin, was honoured with the Outstanding Leader in Property Award, in recognition of her exceptional leadership and influence within the sector. 

 

The awards celebrated achievement across multiple disciplines with Ballymore named Developer of the Year, while Hooke & MacDonald secured the Irish Agency of the Year Award. John Sisk & Son was recognised for their commitment to sustainability with the Best ESG/Sustainability Initiative of the Year Award. 

 

In the technology sphere, Wia Technologies emerged as the Emerging Proptech Company of the Year, while the Land Development Agency took home the Proptech of the Year Award. 

Supporting Community and Social Housing The Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative Project of the Year Award went to Cairn Community Games, highlighting the industry’s commitment to social impact. Circle Voluntary Housing Association was awarded Social Housing Development of the Year, while the Land Development Agency and Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council’s collaborative efforts were recognised with the Placemaking Initiative of the Year Award. 

 

 

Celebrating Innovation and Emerging Talent 

Reddy Architecture’s Newmarket Yards project won for Renovation/Redevelopment/Repurpose of the Year, and Dan Reade of Mullery O’Gara was celebrated as the Future Leader. Property Marketing excellence was also in the spotlight, with DNG Michael Galvin winning Marketing Team of the Year and Liberty Blue Estate Agents taking home the Social Media Campaign of the Year Award.

The awards were judged by a panel of industry experts including Tina-Marie O’Neill, Editor of Property Plus at Business Post; Carol Tallon, CEO of Property District; Gavin Lawlor, President of the Irish Planning Institute; Neil Bannon, Executive Chairman at Bannon; David McKenna, Director of Property at Dublin Simon Community; Paul Sheridan, Director of Main Contracting Services at CIF; Mary Conway, Chairperson of the Irish Property Owners Association; and Genevieve McGuirk, Head of Operations at the Institute of Professional Auctioneers & Valuers.
