On Property Matters this week, host Carol Tallon is joined remotely by Pat Davitt, CEO of IPAV, Eimear Malone, Co-Owner of Ballyshane House and John Callan, Head of Product and Client Solutions at MyHome.ie.

Pat Davitt, CEO of IPAV was first to join Carol Tallon on Property Matters to discuss new safety protocols for estate agents as we enter into phase two in the coming weeks. Pat talks about safety procedures that will be taken during auctions and viewings and how IPAV members plan to implement these. Listen back to the full interview to hear tips from Pat about how to conduct your auctions in the future while following regulations.

Eimear Malone, co-owner of Ballyshane House joined Carol to explain why she decided to handle the sale of her and John’s self-built house. She talks about the location benefits and amenities around Ballyshane House and in the village of Inistioge. Her process of selling Ballyshane is different to regular sales as she is the owner of the home, details are on the website, however, she asks people to contact her for more information. As Covid19 restrictions remain in place, contact Eimear through the Ballyshane House website to organise a virtual viewing.

John Callan, Head of Product and Client Solutions at MyHome.ie was the final guest of the week to join us on Property Matters. John talks Carol through the launch of MyHome Live. MyHome Live enables estate agents to conduct a live, scheduled, video tour of a property for an unlimited number of viewers. Agents can also answer questions from viewers in real time. John explains that the rental market will also be accommodated, and plans for further innovation in the near future.

Tune into Property Matters weekly on Dublin South FM from 6-7pm every Tuesday (or catch up via podcast www.iPropertyRadio.com) for more planning, construction, property and proptech chat.
