Dermot Carey, Director of Safety, Training & Skills at Construction Industry Federation Ireland was first to join Carol Tallon on Property Matters to discuss Construction Saftey week 2020. CIF is partnering with the Lighthouse Club to launch a new app and helpline for the construction sector. Dermot also talks about their partnership with LAYA Healthcare that is a part of their Buildhealth Initiative to provide EAP services for the industry.
Fiachra Morrison, Clinical Hypnotherapist at the Dublin Hypnosis and Therapy Centre joined Carol to discuss the uptake in online therapeutic sessions amongst men since the start of the pandemic and how this can be helpful for dealing with anxiety. Eamon Kenny, Regional EHS Manager at John Paul Construction was the final guest of the week to join us on Property Matters to talk about the Mental Health, Health & Wellbeing campaigns launched by John Paul Construction in 2019. Eamon also speaks about the mental services that are available to everyone, not just to those in the industry- these include Pieta House, Mental Health Ireland and Aware.
