iProperty Radio – in collaboration with PLACEengage, friends of the New European Bauhaus – is excited to announce the launch of the ‘Placemaking Book Club’ podcast series for 2025. This initiative brings together planners and multidisciplinary placemaking practitioners from the public sector, private sector, and academia to delve into emerging trends in spatial planning and the innovative tools driving this field forward.
The ‘Placemaking Book Club’ podcast promises insightful discussions, critical analyses, and the sharing of knowledge on the latest developments in placemaking. Each episode will feature expert guests who will explore various aspects of spatial planning, best practice community engagement, and the technologies facilitating innovation in creating sustainable and vibrant communities.
To ensure the podcast covers a diverse range of perspectives and topics, we are seeking book recommendations from our industry audience. Whether it’s a seminal work that has influenced your approach to placemaking, a recent publication introducing groundbreaking ideas, or a classic text offering timeless insights, we want to hear from you!
We got a head-start by trawling through most of the secondhand books shops between Dublin and Galway (huge shout out to Charlie Byrne’s in Galway for being such a treasure trove!) but please share your book recommendations by emailing hello@ipropertyradio.com.
